Two years have passed since Rinse’s death, and it was also two years since I started to live with mom. I realized that the existence of me became very important for mom as we lived together.

One day in May, it was an unusually hot and humid day. Uncommonly, I wasn’t so good from the morning, and I didn’t want to eat so much. Mom tried really hard to make me eat, and because of that, I was able to eat as much as usual. After seeing me eat all the food, she felt easy and left for work.

However, when the pet sitter came to take us out for a walk that day, it was a little hard for me to breathe, so I went out on a rolling pet carrier. The pet sitter told mom about that, and mom got worried. So, she asked the pet sitter to see me in the evening again. In fact, I was feeling so sick that I couldn’t move, and I wasn’t able to go to my toilet. When the sitter came to see me, urine and feces were all around me.

The sitter told mom about me, and mom came back home in a hurry to take me to the vet. I had pulmonary edema, and the vet told mom that I was in critical condition. Mom cried and asked the vet to save my life. The vet and nurse tried their best, and thanks to their hard work, I became better. I was very happy when I was able to leave the hospital and go back home.
